I am always excited about upcoming services here at Oasis, but this week will be extra special.  Mary Ann Doggett and her family will be leading our time of worship this week.  Mary Ann’s Parents, Brother, Sister, and all of their families will be with us in the services for this week, and I know you are in for a real treat.  You all already know what an amazing voice Mary Ann has, so let’s just say that talent for singing runs in her family.  You won’t want to miss this service.   The songs in the chart above are the ones they want you to sing with them.  One of the songs, “Glorious One”, is a song that we haven’t done at Oasis before, but it’s a really good one, so check it out.  Also, “How Great Thou Art” is a well know hymn to most of us, but we will be singing it a little different than the traditional way.  I think you’ll catch on pretty quick Sunday.   As always, I look forward to worshiping with you on Sunday.

Bro. Doug

Spring is here, and many of you are enjoying your Spring Break this week.  I’m really looking forward to this Sunday as we will be breaking out the Djembe` for the first time in our new building.  I’ll even give Lance and David a week off from moving the piano out to the auditorium, as this will be a simple acoustic service featuring John Anderson, and Tony Morado.  We will be finishing our series “The Quest For Change” (not breakaway J) with a sermon entitled “Making Change A Lifestyle”.  I hope that you have made some changes in your life through this series.  It’s my prayer that you will continue to make changes long after this series is over.  Take time to listen to the music by clicking the titles in the chart above.  I’ll be looking forward to worshiping with you on Sunday.

What an awesome Sunday!  Thanks for making it a great day as we celebrated our Grand Opening.  This week we continue our series “The Quest For Change” with the sermon “Letting Others Help You Change”.  Sometimes God sends people into our lives to help us change, becoming more like the person He wants us to be.  The question is, will we allow others into our lives for God to work through them?

This week our music is simply praise to our King, and celebrating that we belong to Him.  To kind of tie in the theme this week, I will be allowing a few people to help me change a bit.  Josh Pickard and AJ McKeown; who have become a little more familiar to us on the stage, will be helping me lead out on a lot of the music.  I’m really excited to have these two guys as part of our team, and really look forward to worshiping with them….and you on Sunday.  Be sure to check out the music by clicking the links in the chart above.  Keep in mind that the videos that are provide on the links are not really the focus, it’s basically the song I want you to hear.  For example, “Children of God” is a slide show of a youth group from a church in Galion (not sure what state).  Just didn’t want you to be watching the video and thinking, “who are these people?”.  Thanks for taking the time to check out what will be a happening on Sunday.  See you then!

It’s GRAND OPENING Sunday at our church, and we are really excited.  Our goal for this exciting day is to see a total attendance of 400 which would blow away our record high attendance.  If every person that attends on Sunday would bring one person with them, we would exceed this goal.  Can you imagine if we all brought more than one?  I know that I have several people that I’m working on for Sunday, and pray that you are as well.

We are continuing our series “The Quest For Change” which so far has been an outstanding series.  This week, Bro. Todd will be focusing on “Identifying What Needs To Change”.  Our music this week pretty much deals with our worship to God, and why He is worthy of our praise.  We’ll finish this service with a time of celebration as we sing songs like “Free”, and “When I Think About the Lord”.  This week, think about the changes God has already made in your life, and celebrate!  Also, let’s pray that God would show us other changes that need to be made in our life to glorify Him.  I look forward to worshiping with you Sunday.

This week we continue our series “The Quest for Change” which so far has been great.  Have you started putting some things into practice because of this series?  This week Bro. Todd will be talking about “Creating An Environment for Change”.

The songs “Speak To My Heart”, and “I Give You My Heart” are songs of surrender as we are asking God to take what we are and make it into what He wants us to be.  You see we have to make the move to surrender to God before He will make the changes in our heart and life.  Our God is powerful enough to make whatever changes He wants, but gives us the choice whether we will follow Him or not.

“Marvelous Light” talks about the change in our lives as we come out of darkness and into the Marvelous Light that Christ has to offer.  Once again, we are making the move toward Christ, and He does the changing.  Finally, we will celebrate the change that God has already made in our lives as we sing the song “When I Think About the Lord”.

I’m really looking forward to this service, and am excited to hear what God will have for us on that day.  Take time to listen to the songs by clicking the links provided above, and let’s really come prepared to worship our God and King.  See you Sunday!
