the-believers-journey2-copyDecember 7th Sermon “Understanding the Journey”

When a person surrenders their life to follow Jesus, there are definitely some new principles for living that must be understood.  How does God teach us what we need to know as we make the journey as a believer? Today, we will discover how to receive instructions for our journey.

What an awesome time of worship we had yesterday at Oasis.  It was so great to worship together in one service with everyone yesterday, and I’m really looking forward to our times in the future.  This week we will be continuing our series “The Believer’s Journey”.  Our music this week is a celebration of who Christ is.  We will be introducing our Worship Choir for the first time in our services, as well as having our full band back.  Take time to check out the links to the music in the chart above to better prepare yourself for our time of worship together.  Be sure to spread the word about our blog so that others can prepare themselves ahead of time for what will be happening here on Sunday.  I really look forward to worshiping with you all on Sunday.

The service was wonderful yesterday! I am really excited about joining the two services together, and all of the changes that are in store. Thanks!

Loved the services yesterday! I enjoy having the kids perform and join us in the services every once-in-awhile. I love watching my kids sing their hearts out with us in “big” church!!! They enjoy it also—although they would NOT trade their wonderful class for it! Thanks for going out of your way to make it a little more kid friendly with the songs we sang and the puppet. We loved it!

We greatly enjoyed worshiping along with our entire church family as well in one service. I was afraid I was going to be a bit overwhelmed with all the new faces—but instead I was encouraged. I look forward to getting to know so many others!!! My time of worship was good and I look forward to this next Sunday! I’m greatly enjoying this new study on “So, You Want To Be Like Christ” and can’t wait to worship corporately after a week challenged & hopefully changed by this study! I am praying for Sundays services already!
